The Children's Museum Foundation is a nonprofit organization aimed at educating children and youth of all ages. The Foundation was established in 1986 under the leadership of President Belisario Betancur, supported by a distinguished group of Colombian businessmen and leaders of state agencies.

The Foundation has benefited from the selfless contributions of many private companies, foundations and government agencies. The Museum opened its doors to the public in 1987.

The Museum occupies a complex of buildings over 8,000 square meters of construction at the intersection of Calle 63 and race 48 in the geographic center of the city of Bogotá. In our facilities are housed around 25 modules covering topics in different areas of knowledge and art. We also have a Boeing 720B in top condition, parked in our garden, which everyone can visit.
